Looking Forward to Winter Activities

41jFty-dc2L._SX355_Thanksgiving break is over, and I am about wrapping up my semester at Columbia this fall, and already planning my winter break activities, including immersing myself in my spiritual practice which, for me, always includes the passionate pursuit of knowledge. I have always been interested in my ancestral homeland and my Iraqi heritage and look forward to attending a session on Sumerian Innovation at the Brooklyn Brainery this December 19th. Won’t you join us?

Secondly, I am extremely delighted that a passion for an art I’ve held close to my heart will finally be expressed this January, when I explore the industry of candle-making through a course I registered for at CourseHorse (that is my referral link — which will enable you to join a class with a $15 discount)! I usually have a candle burning in my room because it helps me focus while I meditate. I also am a novice aromatherapist so it should be a wonderful time for me to explore oils and perfumes as well.

I hope to see you there!

Blessings and I hope you have a happy December!
